GP1 Shaft
|
2-Piece, “group 1” Atlas halfshaft kit. These use the original Capri-Atlas type wheel bearing and therefore don’t need any modifications to the axle casing. The inner end is “GP4 18tooth” spline so the LSD will require corresponding 18t side gears fitting. Manufactured specially for Fostek from only the best materials – these are designed with ultimate strength and reliability in mind. NOT to be confused with shafts from some other leading manufacturers, which fall apart! Shafts are handed left and right – the LH shaft having a left-hand thread to prevent the nut coming undone. Supplied as fully assembled shafts, ready to install – built up with OE quality wheel bearings, long metric wheel studs and shaft retaining plates. Most standard lengths (Wide, narrow or baby) available off the shelf – but we can now offer to make these shafts to ANY width – specifically for ultra narrow applications such as Anglia/Cortina or drag-racing specials… Please call for details. One-off shafts need not be any more expensive than the standard width items! Wheel stud pattern is Ford (4X 107.9mm PCD). Toyota, Opel etc patterns available on request One-off and bespoke shafts can be made to order – we just need a drawing to be able to quote. Please contact us for more details. |

Supplied as a pair, fully reconditioned, with new OE spec bearings, wheel studs, re-faced flange etc. Machined ready to accept disc brakes. The cost-effective alternative to fitting 2-piece billet shafts in your Narrowed Atlas. |

Wheel flange for use with Fostek GP1 billet 2-piece halfshafts. Precision machined in EN24T – very hard – features various design mods to overcome the problem of wheel flanges coming loose from their shafts. When strength and reliability are of the highest important. No more sloppy flanges! Will require hydraulic press to assemble. Will fit Squires (R.A.C.E) GP1 shafts also. |
